Privacy Policy

Clio Assistant is a private, personal-use productivity agent operated by Alejandro Perez. Its primary purpose is to read authorized emails, preserve useful information in a personal vault or Notion workspace, and file approved email attachments into the correct Google Drive folders according to a specific file structure. This policy explains what information Clio Agent may access, why it is accessed, and how it is handled.

Google data Clio may access

Depending on the permissions granted by the account owner, Clio Agent may access Gmail messages and metadata, Google Drive files and metadata, Google Calendar events, Google Docs content, and Google Sheets content. Clio Agent only requests and uses the services and permissions enabled by the account owner.

Clio Agent may also access files and directories on the account owner’s local filesystem when the owner explicitly selects or authorizes those locations. Local filesystem information may include filenames, folder structure, file metadata, and file contents needed for an approved productivity workflow. Clio Agent does not scan unrelated locations or access a computer’s filesystem without authorization.

Clio Agent may also access information in the account owner’s personal vault or Notion workspace when that integration is authorized. This may include page content, database properties, links, and organization metadata needed to preserve durable personal information or update an existing knowledge record. Clio Agent does not access unrelated Notion workspaces or pages without authorization.

Why the data is accessed

Clio Agent reads authorized email to identify useful personal information, action items, and attachments. At the account owner’s request, it can summarize or classify the information, update a personal vault or Notion, and file approved attachments in the correct Google Drive folder according to the owner’s specific folder structure and filing rules. These actions support personal organization and record keeping; they are not advertising, profiling, or a public sharing service.

Clio Agent does not automatically send email, delete information, archive messages, publish local files, or share files without the account owner’s authorization.

Sale, advertising, and third-party sharing

Clio does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes. Information is not intentionally shared with third parties. Clio is a private personal-use application and is not a public or commercial service.

Storage and retention

Information is retained only as needed for the account owner’s requested productivity workflows and may be removed by the account owner. Clio Agent does not retain information longer than necessary for those personal workflows. The account owner controls which email information is preserved in Notion or a personal vault and which attachments are filed in Google Drive.

Temporary working copies, summaries, classifications, and file-organization records may exist while a requested workflow is being completed. The account owner may request removal of retained productivity information and may remove or replace local files directly. Information is not kept for unrelated analytics, advertising, or user profiling.

Security and access

Access to Google services is controlled through Google OAuth authorization, and access to local filesystem content is limited to locations explicitly made available by the account owner. Credentials and OAuth tokens are not published on this website. The public website contains no account area, upload function, private file browser, or access to the account owner’s Google or local data.

Access control and revocation

Access is controlled by Google OAuth authorization. OAuth access can be revoked at any time through Google Account security settings or the associated Google Cloud project. Revoking access prevents Clio from accessing the Google services covered by that authorization.

Your choices

The account owner chooses which Google permissions to grant, which files and directories to make available, and which productivity workflows to request. The account owner may withdraw Google access, stop a workflow, remove retained information, or remove local files directly. Withdrawing authorization may prevent Clio Agent from completing features that depend on that information.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Clio Agent’s functionality or data practices change. The current version is always published at this URL. Any new use of Google or filesystem information will remain subject to the account owner’s authorization and the limitations described here.
